PEGI Reveals New GTA 6 Details About Cocaine, Dismemberment and Sex
A detailed GTA 6 description briefly appeared on PEGI before being removed. It contained much more specific information about drugs, gore, animals and sexual content.
A detailed GTA 6 description briefly appeared in PEGI’s database this week before being removed.
The listing described cocaine use, drugs accessed through an inventory, decapitation, dismemberment, harm to animals and interactive sexual content.
Some of GTA 6’s adult content remains officially confirmed by Rockstar, the ESRB and Australia’s classification board.
The more specific details come from the PEGI description that is no longer publicly accessible.
The PEGI description was removed
The detailed listing appeared publicly on October 2, 2026.
Forbes, GamesRadar and RockstarINTEL documented its contents.
It later disappeared.
PEGI has not provided a verified public explanation for the removal.
We therefore do not know whether it was removed because it revealed information early, because something needed correcting or for another reason.
Cocaine and drugs in the inventory
Rockstar and the ESRB already officially confirm Use of Drugs and Alcohol.
PEGI’s detailed description went further.
According to reports preserving the listing, players could use illegal drugs through an inventory and carry cocaine that could be consumed directly from the hand.
It also referred to drug use involving other characters.
Rockstar has not yet publicly explained that mechanic.

Decapitation and dismemberment
Rockstar and the ESRB currently list Blood and Gore and Intense Violence.
PEGI’s removed description was more specific.
It said certain weapons could cause detailed decapitation and dismemberment.
The listing also referred to violence against civilians, criminals and authorities in the open world.

Animals
The removed PEGI description also referred to domestic animals.
According to the listing, players could harm them, although injuries were not shown with the same level of detail as injuries to human characters.
That is only one part of GTA 6’s wildlife system.
Rockstar has discussed more than 170 animal species across Leonida, including Rare, Discoverable and Legendary categories.

Sex, nudity and nightclubs
Rockstar and the ESRB officially confirm Nudity and Strong Sexual Content.
Australia’s classification explicitly lists “sex scenes.”
PEGI’s removed description also referred to sexual intercourse, occasional fetish references and interactive private dances in nightclubs.

In-game purchases
GTA 6 also carries the In-Game Purchases descriptor through Rockstar and the ESRB.
PlayStation describes those purchases as optional.
That still does not establish a microtransaction store inside Jason and Lucia’s story.

What remains officially confirmed
Even without PEGI’s detailed description, the currently accessible official sources confirm a broad range of adult content.
Rockstar and the ESRB list:
blood and gore, intense violence, nudity, strong sexual content, strong language, drug and alcohol use and in-game purchases.
Australia additionally confirms high impact violence, sex scenes and drug use.

What we still don’t know
We do not know why PEGI removed the listing.
We also do not yet know:
what cocaine does,
how the full inventory works,
which weapons cause dismemberment,
how extensive animal interactions are,
or exactly how the private dances described by PEGI work.
