GTA 6 PC Release Date: When Is GTA VI Coming to PC?
Rockstar hasn't announced GTA 6 for PC. It launches November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Take-Two says PC is becoming more and more important to the company.

Rockstar has not announced a GTA 6 PC release date. Grand Theft Auto VI launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026, but no PC version has been dated.
No PC version has been announced either. Rockstar’s site and Take-Two’s pre-order announcement list the two consoles and nothing else.
What Take-Two has said about GTA 6 on PC
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick is the one who has come closest.
In a November 2025 CNBC interview, he said the business is “moving towards PC” and toward open systems, as reported by PC Gamer.
On September 17, 2026, speaking to shareholders, he went a step further without announcing anything. The company’s strategy, he said, is to launch over time “for any platforms for which there’s a meaningful audience.” He added that PC is “becoming more and more important to our company over time,” according to GamesRadar.
That’s a hint. Still no date.
What happened with GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2
Rockstar has done this before: console first, PC later.
GTA IV hit consoles on April 29, 2008. PC, in December of the same year.
GTA V arrived on PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 17, 2013. PC, on April 14, 2015: nineteen months later.
Red Dead Redemption 2 launched on PS4 and Xbox One on October 26, 2018. PC, on November 5, 2019: just over a year later.
Seven months. Nineteen months. A year.
None of those gaps binds GTA 6. They show Rockstar’s pattern, and the pattern says PC comes later.
GTA 6 on PC in 2027?
The idea that GTA 6 hits PC in 2027 gets repeated a lot.
Rockstar hasn’t said it. Neither has Take-Two.
Repeat Red Dead Redemption 2’s gap and you land in late 2027. Repeat GTA V’s and you land in 2028. That’s our math on precedent: nobody has leaked or announced that date.
GTA 6 on Steam and the Rockstar Games Launcher
GTA 6 doesn’t have a Steam page.
GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 sold on PC through the Rockstar Games Launcher and also on stores like Steam and the Epic Games Store. Which stores GTA 6 will use on PC, if it comes, hasn’t been announced.
GTA 6 PC requirements
There are no official system requirements.
Any “minimum” or “recommended” spec table you find right now is the publisher’s own guess. Rockstar hasn’t given a single CPU, GPU, RAM or storage figure.
It hasn’t even published GTA 6’s file size on console yet.

Right now, playing GTA 6 on launch day means a PS5 or an Xbox Series X|S.
