- Confirmed
The information comes from its owner: the studio, publisher, manufacturer or platform, such as Rockstar, Take-Two, Sony, Elgato or YouTube.
- Unconfirmed
Media reports, leaks, estimates, community reconstructions and our own deductions. A rumor remains unconfirmed even when many outlets repeat it.
GTA 6 has activities spread across Leonida.
Confirmed examples include pool, mini golf, gyms, kayaking, scuba diving, street and off-road racing, zoo visits, BASE jumping, airboats and jet skis.
The Extended Look also shows basketball, backyard wrestling and a shooting range.
Rockstar has not explained the complete rules, rewards or repeatability of every activity yet.
Some have another purpose too: spending time on them with Jason or Lucia can develop their relationship.

Which activities are confirmed in GTA 6?
Game Informer’s September cover story expanded the list Rockstar had already begun showing in GTA VI: An Extended Look.
Named activities include:
- BASE jumping;
- billiards;
- gyms;
- kayaking;
- mini golf;
- scuba diving;
- street racing;
- off-road racing;
- zoo visits;
- airboats;
- jet skis.
Several had already appeared visually in August.
Others, including mini golf and zoo visits, became much clearer through the later Game Informer coverage.
Rockstar has not presented this as the complete list.
Pool is back
Billiards is confirmed.
Rob Nelson also uses pool as an example of something Jason and Lucia can do together outside story missions.
Playing pool together can also help their relationship.
Rockstar has not detailed:
- how many bars have tables;
- available rule sets;
- betting;
- rewards;
- opponents;
- whether specific NPCs can challenge you.
The activity exists.
Its full depth remains unknown.
GTA 6 has mini golf
Mini golf is confirmed.
Nelson places it alongside pool and kayaking as one of the ways Jason and Lucia can spend time together.
That connects a small side activity to a larger character system.
You can play because you want to.
Doing it together can also feed their relationship.
Rockstar has not shown:
- the number of courses;
- hole counts;
- difficulty settings;
- scoring;
- rewards;
- opponent options.
You can go to the gym
Gyms are confirmed.
The Extended Look shows Lucia bench pressing with direct controller prompts.
Jason has also been shown working out in earlier material.
The gym connects with another GTA 6 system: the protagonists’ bodies can change over time.
The exact rules remain incomplete.
Rockstar has not publicly explained:
- how quickly body shape changes;
- which exercises affect which attributes;
- whether Strength exists as a separate stat;
- whether workouts create fatigue;
- how strongly food affects the system.
A dedicated weight-and-gym guide can separate those mechanics in more detail.
Kayaking is both an activity and a way to travel
Kayaking is confirmed.
Rockstar lists the Crest Kayak among Jason’s Safehouse Vehicles in Ultimate Edition, while Game Informer includes kayaking among Leonida’s activities.
Nelson also confirms Jason and Lucia can kayak together as part of spending time as a couple.
That gives it two obvious roles:
moving across water
and
doing something together
We do not yet know whether kayaking includes races, marked routes or dedicated challenges.
GTA 6 has scuba diving
GTA 6 supports scuba diving with diving gear.
The Extended Look shows underwater exploration, and Game Informer lists scuba diving among the confirmed activities.
Leonida’s marine life is also far more developed, with sharks, rays, turtles, jellyfish, whales and other species.
The gameplay structure still needs explaining.
Rockstar has not detailed:
- oxygen;
- maximum depth;
- underwater treasure;
- caves;
- missions;
- dangerous wildlife;
- purchasable diving equipment.
Private demonstrations have also included underwater treasure-hunting activities.
Street racing is confirmed
Street racing is confirmed.
Rockstar showed competitive driving in the Extended Look, and Game Informer names street races among Leonida’s activities.
We do not yet know:
- race count;
- vehicle classes;
- entry fees;
- prizes;
- unlock requirements;
- progression;
- championships.
There are off-road races too
Leonida also supports competition away from paved roads.
The Extended Look shows dirt bikes and other vehicles taking part in an off-road event.
Game Informer confirms off-road racing.
The map gives these events room to feel different from city races, with rural roads, dirt routes and wilderness outside Vice City.
Rockstar has not published the complete discipline list.
GTA 6 has a proper race track
The Extended Look shows a race taking place on a closed circuit with:
- position;
- lap count;
- timer;
- opponents.
Racing therefore extends beyond spontaneous competition on public roads.
Rockstar has not published the number of permanent circuits.
You can visit a zoo
Game Informer confirms zoo visits as a GTA 6 activity.
That stands out because Rockstar has also confirmed more than 170 animal species across Leonida.
We still do not know:
- where the zoo is;
- how many animals it contains;
- whether there are several zoos;
- what interactions are available;
- whether visiting it has objectives or simply functions as a place to explore.
The visit itself is confirmed.
Its structure is still unknown.
BASE jumping and parachuting
BASE jumping is confirmed.
The Extended Look shows Lucia falling from a major height before opening her parachute.
Game Informer later includes it in the activity list.
Rockstar has not explained whether it includes:
- timed challenges;
- marked jump locations;
- scoring;
- aerial races;
- rewards.
Airboats
Airboats are among the confirmed activities and vehicles.
They fit naturally into Grassrivers and Leonida’s wetland areas.
The Extended Look shows them moving through shallow water.
Rockstar has not said whether there are dedicated airboat races or jobs.
Jet skis
Jet skis are also confirmed.
The Extended Look shows several riders moving across the water.
The sequence looks competitive, although the footage does not explain a formal race structure.
Game Informer later includes jet skis among the available activities.
Can you play basketball?
Rockstar shows Jason shooting a basketball in the Extended Look.
That establishes an interactive basketball activity.
Its scope remains unclear.
Rockstar has not said whether players can access:
- one-on-one games;
- full matches;
- shooting challenges;
- tournaments;
- Jason-versus-Lucia games;
- NPC opponents.
The safest description before launch is:
basketball has been shown as an interactive activity.
Backyard wrestling
The Extended Look shows Jason fighting inside an improvised ring.
The sequence appears to be playable backyard wrestling.
Rockstar has not explained:
- rules;
- controls;
- tournaments;
- betting;
- rewards;
- the number of wrestling locations.
The activity is shown.
Its full structure is still unknown.
There is a shooting range
Lucia appears training at a shooting range.
Targets rise around the course while she fires different weapons.
It could function both as shooting practice and a side activity.
Rockstar has not published its challenges, scores or rewards.

Is there fishing in GTA 6?
Fishing is supported by several pieces of pre-release material.
Rockstar has linked boats and parts of Leonida with fishing, while preview reporting describes a fishing system.
The rules remain incomplete.
We do not yet have public details for:
- rods;
- bait;
- catchable fish;
- challenges;
- rewards;
- progression.
That makes “GTA 6 fishing” a useful search query to retain without inventing mechanics Rockstar has not explained.
Activities can improve Jason and Lucia’s relationship
Several GTA 6 systems meet here.
Rob Nelson says the relationship between the protagonists can be developed by spending time together in the open world.
His examples include:
- exploring;
- playing pool;
- playing mini golf;
- kayaking;
- robbing stores;
- robbing banks.
The activity can change.
The shared time is what matters.
The relationship deserves its own guide because texts, meetings and narrative consequences also feed into it.
Not every minigame needs to make money
Some activities connect directly with the economy.
Others exist for training, exploration, relationship development or simply spending time in Leonida.
Rockstar and preview coverage have shown activities such as racing and treasure hunting that may provide rewards.
There is no official payout table for every minigame yet.
GTA 6 has fewer sports minigames than GTA 5
Rob Nelson told Flow Games that GTA 6 contains fewer sports minigames than GTA V.
The reason is the development time and depth required to bring each one up to the standard Rockstar wants for GTA 6.
That also explains two omissions.
Skateboarding
Rockstar considered skateboarding.
Nelson says the team dropped it because it did not believe the mechanic could be developed to the required quality in time for launch.
{confirmed} Skateboarding at launch: cut.
Surfing
Flow Games also reports that surfing is out, at least for now.
{unconfirmed} Surfing at launch: not planned according to the preview.
That could change through a future update.
Rockstar has announced no such update.
Does full golf return from GTA 5?
Mini golf is confirmed.
A full traditional golf minigame is not.
Rockstar has shown golf-related environments around Leonida, but their existence does not confirm the return of GTA V’s full golf activity.
Is tennis in GTA 6?
Not confirmed.
Rockstar has not shown or announced a tennis minigame before launch.
Is bowling in GTA 6?
Not confirmed.
No official pre-release material has presented bowling as a playable GTA 6 activity.
