Jason and Lucia remain defined characters

GTA 6 starts with two protagonists who already have names, faces, voices, histories and personalities.

Jason and Lucia already arrive as defined characters.

Customization changes how they present themselves without replacing who they are.

GTA 6 has thousands of outfits

Nelson directly answers the comparison with GTA V:

thousands of outfits.

He also says the game offers more customization than ever before.

Rockstar has not published exact totals for individual shirts, pants, shoes or accessories.

“Thousands of outfits” should therefore remain the number we use rather than turning it into an invented item count.

Clothing comes from stores and missions

Nelson confirms two ways to obtain outfits:

complete missions

and

purchase them from stores

Clothes can come from a store or from a mission.

That makes clothing part of progression as well as shopping.

Rockstar has not published the full prices, catalogs, requirements or wardrobe capacity.

Leonida has many clothing stores

Nelson says countless clothing stores and salons are spread across the map.

Rockstar has not released the complete Standard Edition store directory.

Different parts of Leonida can therefore support different looks without requiring every region to use the same shop.

Stock 305 is an Ultimate Edition clothing store

Rockstar has officially named one specific clothing destination:

Stock 305.

It sits in Stockyard and offers exclusive looks for Jason and Lucia.

The store is Ultimate Edition content.

That does not mean Standard Edition lacks clothing stores.

Nelson confirms that many others exist.

GTA 6 has a wide range of hairstyles

Rockstar says GTA 6 has more appearance options than before, including a wide variety of hairstyles.

Jason and Lucia also appear with different looks throughout official footage.

Rockstar has not released the final hairstyle, color or price list.

You can cut hair at the safehouse

Yes.

Nelson says hair can be adjusted at a hideout.

The available selection there is limited.

For broader hairstyle choices, you need to visit a salon.

Sara’s Unisex Salon

Ultimate Edition includes:

Sara’s Unisex Salon.

PlayStation’s official listing describes styling for both protagonists.

Jason gets facial-hair options.

Lucia gets makeup and nail options.

The location itself is Ultimate Edition content.

Rockstar has not said Sara’s is the only salon capable of character customization.

Jason can customize facial hair

Sara’s description directly establishes facial-hair styling for Jason.

Official imagery also shows him with different facial-hair states.

Rockstar has not announced a Red Dead Redemption 2-style automatic beard-growth system.

Current distinction:

facial-hair customization → CONFIRMED

automatic beard growth over time → NOT CONFIRMED

Lucia has makeup and nail options

Both are directly described for Sara’s Unisex Salon.

That extends customization beyond clothing and hairstyles.

Rockstar has not published the color range, number of options or whether equivalent services exist outside Ultimate Edition content.

Tattoos are confirmed

Ultimate Edition includes Electric Fang Tattoo.

PlayStation’s official listing describes more than 50 signature tattoos for Jason and Lucia, designed by the art collective FAILE.

Electric Fang itself is Ultimate Edition content.

The complete Standard Edition tattoo catalog has not been published.

FAILE designed Electric Fang’s tattoos

The collaboration gives GTA 6 a real-world art connection inside its customization system.

Rockstar has not yet revealed every design, body placement, price or removal option.

Clothing affects police identification

Appearance has a gameplay consequence.

Police can receive descriptions of what you are wearing.

Nelson says changing clothing during Heat can stop you matching that report.

A shirt can be cosmetic until it becomes part of a police description.

A wardrobe therefore has practical value during an escape.

Masks also change your description

Jason and Lucia wear masks and bandanas during crimes.

If witnesses report a masked suspect, removing that mask afterward changes how closely you match the description.

Appearance and the police system overlap.

Body shape changes too

Customization is partly produced through play rather than a menu.

Jason and Lucia can gain weight through eating and build muscle through exercise.

The wardrobe changes what they wear. Food and training can change the body underneath.

Their physical condition changes over time.

Lifestyle can leave visible effects

Rockstar has also discussed visible changes associated with tiredness and lifestyle.

A hairstyle is selected.

Muscle is trained.

Weight responds to food.

Fatigue can become visible on the face.

Different systems contribute to the final appearance.

Can you edit Jason or Lucia’s face?

Rockstar has not announced a facial editor.

There is no confirmed:

  • plastic surgery;
  • facial sliders;
  • eye editor;
  • nose editor;
  • bone-structure customization.

Their faces belong to established story characters.

Can you change height or body build with sliders?

No slider system has been announced.

Jason and Lucia can change through weight and exercise.

Rockstar has not described changing their basic height or starting body structure from a character-creation menu.

Cars can be customized

Vehicle customization is directly established.

Ultimate Edition names two dedicated mod shops:

  • Rideout Customs;
  • One-Eyed Willie’s.

Pay ‘n’ Spray also handles repairs and resprays.

Nelson says more elaborate paintwork requires a tuning shop.

Rideout Customs

Rockstar describes the shop around:

  • detailed interiors;
  • rims;
  • donk styling.

It is an Ultimate Edition destination.

The complete parts catalog is still unpublished.

One-Eyed Willie’s

This Lake Leonida shop specializes in:

  • off-road modifications;
  • hand-painted automotive artwork.

It is also Ultimate Edition content.

Does Standard Edition have car customization?

Yes, at least at the broader system level.

Pay ‘n’ Spray supports repairs and color changes.

Nelson also refers generally to tuning shops for more elaborate work.

The named Ultimate shops provide exclusive destinations and styles rather than establishing that Standard has no vehicle customization.

Weapons have more customization than before

Nelson says GTA 6 has more weapon customization options than ever before.

Ultimate Edition also includes personalized weapon variants for Jason and Lucia.

Rockstar has not published the complete attachment list yet.

Vice City Style and Goodtime Gear

Ultimate Edition also contains cosmetic collections including:

Vice City Style

and

Goodtime Gear.

They add exclusive appearance content.

They are not the complete GTA 6 wardrobe.

Vintage Vice City Pack adds outfits and hairstyles

Eligible pre-orders and purchases include Vintage Vice City Pack.

Its bonuses include outfits and hairstyles.

These sit on top of the wider customization system Nelson describes.

Can you save outfits?

Rockstar has not published the rules for:

  • saved-outfit slots;
  • favorites;
  • presets;
  • safehouse-specific wardrobes;
  • automatic clothing changes.

Wardrobes exist, but their final management interface is not documented.

Do clothes get dirty or damaged?

Official footage shows clothing under many different environmental conditions.

Rockstar has not published a complete dirt, cleaning or permanent-damage system for clothing.

Are jewelry and accessories customizable?

Official material shows chains, sunglasses, hats, watches, earrings and other accessories.

Their visual presence is confirmed.

Rockstar has not yet explained a complete purchase and equipment system for every category.
