GTA 6 streamer reactions drew almost 4 million concurrent viewers
The GTA 6 Extended Look lasted 26 minutes.
The reactions lasted much longer.
More than 9,000 streamers covered or reacted to the presentation, with those broadcasts reaching more than 3.97 million concurrent viewers, according to Streams Charts.
Together, they generated 5.2 million hours watched.
Twitch accounted for roughly 44% of that watch time, followed by YouTube at 34.8% and Kick at 20.2%.
Rockstar allowed creators to restream the showcase and react to it live.
For a few hours, GTA 6 was playing across thousands of channels at the same time.
Each one had its own community watching with them.
IlloJuan peaked at 233,520 viewers
IlloJuan became one of the biggest creators covering the reveal.
His stream reached 233,520 concurrent viewers during GTA VI, with an average of 135,220 while the stream was categorized under the game.
Streams Charts also identified him as the creator with the highest peak during the coverage.
And his reaction did not stop after one viewing.
He watched the Extended Look again, paused scenes, checked press coverage, watched other creators and returned to the footage for another pass.
Among the things that stood out to him were the technical quality, sound, animations, physics and lighting.
The showcase lasted 26 minutes.
His analysis lasted hours.
Rubius had already seen GTA 6 inside Rockstar North
Rubius peaked at 191,056 concurrent viewers during his GTA VI stream.
His later video, Esto es GTA VI (GAMEPLAY + EXCLUSIVA), had passed roughly 16 million views at the time recorded for this article.
His perspective was also unusual.
Before the Extended Look, Rubius had visited Rockstar North alongside TGG, Davy Jones and MikeShowSha.
He spent more than two hours watching a customized GTA 6 demonstration with Rob Nelson holding the controller. Rubius could ask to see particular systems or situations, but he was not playing the build himself.
It was a hands-off demonstration.
DaniRep started breaking the reveal into individual systems
DaniRep published a general reaction to the Extended Look and another video focused specifically on driving.
At the time checked for this article, one was around 478,000 views and the other around 460,000.
That shows what happened after the premiere.
The reveal immediately created a second wave of videos about driving, physics, animations, police systems, NPCs, weapons and small world details.
The showcase ended.
The breakdowns had only started.
TheGrefg passed two million views
TheGrefg also published his own reaction to the Extended Look.
It had passed 2.17 million views at the time recorded here.
Together with IlloJuan, Rubius and DaniRep, it shows how large the event became inside the Spanish-speaking creator ecosystem.
Kai Cenat brought the reveal into mainstream US streaming
Kai Cenat streamed GTA 6 LIVE REACTION — First Look and peaked at 159,452 viewers, averaging almost 146,000 while covering GTA VI.
xQc recorded a peak of roughly 49,000 viewers associated with the game and later uploaded his own YouTube reaction.
HasanAbi reached roughly 31,600 peak viewers around the event and later uploaded a video titled GTA 6 Is Going to Break the Economy.
That title is Hasan’s opinion.
It is not an economic forecast from Rockstar or Daykyri.
IShowSpeed was part of the wave too
IShowSpeed also produced a major reaction to the Extended Look and briefly appeared among Spain’s most watched videos after the presentation.
We are not attaching a final view count here because the records collected for this piece mix the original upload, clips, reposts and snapshots taken at different times.
The reaction itself is clear.
We do not combine those different measurements into one final figure.
Rockstar let streamers become part of the launch
Rockstar allowed restreams and live reactions.
That meant the Extended Look also travelled through IlloJuan, Rubius, Kai Cenat, xQc, Hasan, Speed and thousands of other channels.
The official presentation remained at the center.
Around it were thousands of live commentaries, pauses, chats and breakdowns happening in real time.
More than 9,000 creators.
More than 3.97 million concurrent viewers around those broadcasts.
5.2 million hours watched.
For a few hours, GTA 6 launched inside thousands of communities at once.
