Logitech introduced Yeti 2 on September 23 at Logitech G PLAY 2026, and it is listed in Spain for €159.99. It revives one of the best-known names in USB microphones, and the main change is how it tries to adapt to the person speaking. Logitech

A sensor tracks where your voice is

According to Logitech, Yeti 2 has a proximity sensor that tracks the speaker’s voice in 3D and uses that information to adapt gain, EQ and pickup pattern. That makes sense on a desk, where almost nobody keeps their mouth in the same spot during a long stream. That is the promise; the real difference against a conventional mic needs a direct recording test. Logitech

AI noise reduction and an LED display

Yeti 2 adds AI noise reduction and is controlled through Logitech G HUB, which handles most of its features. It also has an LED display so you can check settings such as gain without relying only on software.

The direct rival to the Shure MV6 Gen 2

The timing makes the comparison interesting, because Shure announced the MV6 Gen 2 a week later. In Spain, Yeti 2 costs €159.99 and the MV6 Gen 2 €185, and both target people who want better voice quality for streaming, gaming or content creation without an XLR interface.

The useful comparison is not a spec sheet: they need to be in the same room, at the same distance, with the same noise. Meanwhile, the options we already recommend are in our streaming microphone guide.
